Happy Birthday Paul:

I can't believe that two of your birthdays have come by. Time just seems to fly. I'm really not liking being without you, but I know that you are in a better place.

On Thanksgiving I was reflecting on what I was thankful for; I am very thankful that I had you in my life for so many years and that we were as close as we were. I cherish my memories of you and as far as I'm concerned you are not gone you are with me in my heart and mind every day.

So on your birthday I choose to celebrate because it was your special day, the day that you were born and given to us as a gift.

I love you and miss you very much.

Love,
Trisha

Dear Trisha & Family,

A special smile, a special face,
and in their hearts, a special place.
No words they speak can ever say
How much they miss you every day.
To hear your voice and see you smile,
To sit and talk with you awhile.
To be together in the same old way,
Would be the dearest wish of their today.

Although your smile and laughter is gone,
Some how they have to carry on,
As hard as it may be,
For all of them to see,
GOD lifted you to rest,
HE always takes the very best,
It broke their hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone,
Part of them went with you,
The day GOD called you home.
Always in everyones hearts.

It is truly amazing how much can change in a single year. Shadows of failed relationships fade away, doubts and insecurities pass into memory, and experience gives way to some of the first pieces of earned wisdom.

My love for you has not changed, nor has the deep longing I have to see you once more.

I miss you every second of every day. If there is ever a moment that I fail to think of you, fear not, I feel it twice as badly when next I do.

I love you Uncle Paul.
Stand down soldier, your mission is complete. Rest well, because I intend to see you again someday.

My Dear Cousin Paul:

I miss you so much and love you so much. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I often talk to your picture and tell you how I feel. My thoughts and prayers always go to you. You are missed deeply.

On your one year anniversary I have been reflecting back on memories of you and of us together. We spent a lot of time together and laughed and cried together. Today I've been remembering some very happy memories and one of us laughing so hard at your Mother's apartment that we almost fell off the couches we were on. I have so many memories of you and that will get me through all the time I have left without you. You are in a better place.

To Auntie Margie & Mary Jane I love you both so much. I wish I could be there with you today and many other days also. It is very hard for me being 1500 miles away from you, especially on days like today. My thoughts and prayers are with you today also.

The one thing that makes me feel a little better is that all of us have spent so much time with each other and we know how much we all love each other.

I Love You Very Much
Trisha

To a great man and great friend. I just recently found out about Paul. Paul was my ghostie... Paul was a dear friend to me and my daughters. Paul would go shopping with me and Abby when we were in town and have lunch. Paul would laugh and shake his head because "he would say dang she can shop all day." He would follow her around and hold her wants. " Paul would say that girl wants everything in the store just like a typical woman". Paul and I shared a great love of music. Paul was an awesome friend and would give anyone the shirt off his back. Paul will be truely missed in every aspect of life... My thoughts and prayers will be with his family in this time of grief.
