Dear Grandpa, In my reference below to Michael, your grandson...I know that you know I was referring to your great-grandson, Michael Higgins. For others who visit your Guest Book, I want to clarify who the Michael is I am referring to and that is your great-grandson Michael who will be turning 10 years old on February 4, 2009 and does remember you! I often tell him stories about us all sitting under the big tree during the summer or in the garage on the house on Rex Street and how much you loved to take care of your lawn and flowers. Michael also loves flowers and to decorate our yard and house and that reminds me of you. Please know our hearts will always hold a special place for you and Grandma! Those memories will always stay with me! With love always, Bob, Michelle and Michael

I agree with my brother, Michael, a man of strong character, as many of my cards would say to you as I sent you many over the years. Please know how much you've been missed and will be missed by me, Bob and your grandson Michael, who does remember you. I also think of the good times at your house with Grandma and of Dad, your son, and cherish those memories and often show your grandson Michael the pictures. Not a day goes by that I wish Dad could have met Michael in person like you did that one day so many years ago. Tears come to my eyes too many times and on many days and I often wonder the what ifs, but know in my heart, that I was special to you in so many ways as Aunt Colleen reminded me when we last talked, so I hold that dear to my heart. I know you're with Grandma and Dad now and know you'll always hold a special place in my heart forever! Love, Michelle

A man of strong character, you lived a long life Grandpa and know deep in my heart you will be missed greatly. I often think of the fun times I had as a child at your house with Grandma Picard and cherish those memories. Not a day goes by that I still think of Dad, your son, and tears come to my eyes wishing he could have met his two Grandchildren, my sons.
