Clare Bensusan Obituary
Born in Waltham, MA, a daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Winer) Simon, she had lived in Warwick, formerly of Cranston. She was an administrative assistant at Brown University. Clare was an active member of the Brown Learning Community.
Devoted mother of Rick Bensusan and his wife, Ellen, of Bristol and Leslie Paine and her husband, Herbert Holman, of Oakland, CA. Dear sister of Al Simon and his wife, Edie, of Wellesley, MA and the late Blanche Weinstein. Loving grandmother of Carli, Ari and Zach.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Nov. 9, at 1:00 p.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Planned Parenthood. Shiva will be observed at 471 North Ln., Bristol, Sun. 7-9 and Mon. 2-4 & 7-9.

Al and Family,
My prayers are with you at this time. I'll never forget the influence that your family had on my son. Al was his "Big Brother" and Clare was always so caring. He used to come home and ask me why I couldn't cook like Clare did. Please except our deepest sympathy for your loss.
