Dolores Medo

MEDO, DOLORES (AUGUSTINE), of Ocala, FL, and formerly of Providence, passed away November 5th, 2008. She was the wife of the late Albert W. Medo and the former wife of the late James A. Simpson.

Born in Norwalk, CT, a daughter of the late Walter and Stella (Zoldak) Augustine. She had lived in Providence for over 20 years prior to living in Ocala, FL. Dolores graduated from Bryant College. She was a certified L.P.N at the former St. Joseph's and Cranston General Hospitals for many years.

She leaves five cousins; Stanley Piotrowski of Swansea, MA, Andy Augustine of Ocala, FL, Donald Staufenberg of Mims, FL, Joan Serbst of Bristol and Walter Check of East Greenwich. A special thanks to caregivers Nellie Maximore, Olivia Conrad, Janet Seminario and Karen Walston.

Funeral Services Wednesday at 10:00 am in the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St. at Park Ave., Cranston. Burial will be held at St. Patricks Cemetery, Fall River, MA. Calling Hours Tuesday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Parkinsons Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
