I am sorry for your loss. I knew Andy for many years. I met him in 1981 while working at the USPFO for RI as a high school student. He was the first person I met. He made me feel welcome. He showed me around and introduced me to everyone. I was glad someone who was so well liked was looking out for me. His warm smile and genuine concern for others was comforting in such an intimidating place for a young student. I joined the National Guard and over the years enjoyed running into Andy who always had the same joyful smile and warm heartfelt handshake. I will miss him, as a professional colleague, a gentleman and a friend.
