Adelaide Spicola Obituary

SPICOLA, ADELAIDE 'DEE' (DiROBBIO), 95, of Providence, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008 at the Village at Waterman Lake. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur A. Spicola. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Sylvia (DeAngelis ) DiRobbio.

Mrs. Spicola had been a self employed dress maker. She was a communicant of St. Pius Church. She leaves a brother, Carl DiRobbio of Greenville and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jack, Mario and Anthony DiRobbio.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9am, from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Pius Church, Eaton St., Providence. Visitation Tuesday 6-8pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association of RI, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906. Condolences at maceroni.com

SO SORRY TO HEAR THE NEWS. I AM THE WIFE OF JOSEPH DI CICCIO WHO'S AUNTS ARE ROSE AND CONNIE AND THE DECEASED CELIA DI CICCIO. THEY LIVED ON SHARON ST AND WERE VERY CLOSE TO HER. I REMEMBER HER AND HER HUSBAND, ARTHUR, AND HOW VERY KIND THEY WERE TO US EACH TIME WE DROPPED BY TO VISIT. IF THERE IS ANYTHING AT ALL WE CAN DO, PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE AUNTIES SEND THEIR REGARDS ALSO.
