Alan Gilchrist Obituary
Born in Glasgow, Scotland the son of Flora S. (Young) Gilchrist of Scotland and the late Robert Gilchrist.
Alan is survived by his loving family, his wife Laurie, two daughters, Meghann and Heather E. Gilchrist both of North Providence, one brother Mark Gilchrist of Smithfield.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 13 at 6 P.M. in the Winfield and Sons Funeral Home, 571 West Greenville Road (Rt. 116), North Scituate. Cremation by the Cremation Society of Rhode Island.

Thank you for all the condolences, he will be greatly missed. He impacted our lives positively and we will miss him forever.We all lost a special person that day and each of us will remember him. We will all go on, but not without him by our sides.

Heather, Megs & Mum sorry you have to go through something like this... may have only spoken to your Dad a few times but he came across as a lovely guy with a heart that was in the right place.. such a shame & loss.
