My heart & prayers to "Uncle Cab's" family & friends. He was truly my mentor on how to enjoy life and people first with fishing as a theme
in doing so. I've known him as Uncle Cab my 48 years of life as he was the best friend of my father's brother. Antonio "Q.P." Araujo, and a good friend of my mom's brother, Chapman "Butch" Snowden. There are not enough words in the Eng-
lish language to describe my true honor & pride for my acquaintance with him. Royce, Kelly, and Leroy I haven't met you, but he spoke of you often & I feel a distant kinship with you through the dicussions we had. The final night of Uncle Cab's life I visited
him and I would like you all to know that he was very comfotable, pain-
free, and at peace. I regret that I could not be at the funeral, but the day he died I was on a scheduled vaca to Florida doing what Uncle Cab
& I had previously spoke about with
great enthusiasm before his passing..
FISHING! I thought of him all the
while, and repectfully explained my
delemna to Royce. I'm deeply sorrowed to loose a great "Uncle" & friend. Again, my heart & prayers go
out to you and I am very comitted to celebrate Uncle Cab's life.

My sincere condolences to Andy's family and his many friends. I had the pleasure of knowing Andy for the past thirty years, and had fished with him a number of times. Andy would always remind me that he had fished with three generations of my family; my dad, myself and my daughters. I regret that Andy wasn't well enough to fish with a fourth generation (my grandsons) when they visited Narragansett this summer. I will miss Andy very much. Andy was very generous with his fishing knowledge; a generosity which was rare for a surfcaster. I was a beneficiary of that knowledge.
More importantly, I'm grateful for having known Andy the man. God rest you, pal.

I have known Andy for 35 years. He was one of my earliest and most knowledgable mentors. Andy graciously taught me, as a rookie kid, the ways of striper fishing the surf and all of it's nuances. He was kind and generous enough to show me his favorite striper haunts around Gansett in a time when sharing spots was sacreligious, way more secretive than it is now. Andy even took the time to take me fishing with him . I had one of the best nights in the surf with him, EVER, in the mid 80's on B.I.. The two of us had 8 stripers, 4 each, all over 40 pounds apiece that infamous evening. I will missAndy and wish I had thanked him for all of his kindness, generosity and , above all, his friendship. But I think Andy knew what I thought of him every time we met. RIP old friend, you were the finest kind and will be sorely missed.

I am very sad to hear of Andys passing. I pray for him and his family. I considered Andy to be a friend and I too had the pleasure of working with Andy at Channel 12 - for 10 years! He was dedicated and very skilled as an Engineer, he was a true Professional and a good man. - Yet he had fun at the same time. I have fond memories of Andy, -working on broken pieces of equipment, until they were fixed and back up to his high engineering standards. Andy shared with me some of his fishing stories and wanted to take me chum fishing. He explained that I would be the chum. - We laughed! I saw Andy for the last time at a station event in June 2007 and I asked him about our pending fishing trip,-- we had a good chuckle together. I will miss him and remember his friendship!

I worked with Andy for the entire time he was at channel 12. He was not only one of the most capable engineers in the industry but he was the nicest person you would ever want to be around. He was always pleasant, cordial, fun to be with, and truly a gentlemen's gentlemen! He will be greatly missed by all of us who had the hornor to have worked with and know him.
