Edna Silva Obituary

SILVA, Edna E., 93, of Pawtucket, died Friday at Pawtucket Health Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph Silva Jr.

Mrs. Silva was born in Newmarket, NH a daughter of the late John and Ellen (Green) Pilling. She had lived most of her life in Lincoln. Mrs. Silva was a 78 year member of Smithfield Avenue Congregational Church and the Girls service club. She was a 55 year member of the Limerock chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her daughter Joan Gore and her husband Frederick Gore of Lincoln. Two grandsons Gregory Gore and his wife Cristina Gore of Lincoln and Bryan Gore and his wife Rebecca Gore of West Warwick. Three great-grandchildren Alexandra, Joseph & Abigail.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 AM in the Smithfield Avenue Congregational Church 514 Smithfield Avenue Pawtucket. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5-7 PM in the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home 530 Smithfield Avenue Pawtucket with an Eastern Star Ritual at 6PM. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smithfield Avenue Congregational Church and or to Beacon Hospice, Inc. 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence RI 02914 www.merrickrwilliamsfh.com
