Robert Scanlon Obituary
Mr. Scanlon was a safety engineer with St. Paul Fire and Life Insurance Co. for 30 years before retiring. He was a U S Navy veteran.
Robert leaves two sons, Robert J. Scanlon and his wife Chris of Monticello, MN, Michael E. Scanlon and his wife Susan of Woodbury, MN and a daughter Susan M. Painter and her husband Scott of Fridley, MN, two brothers, Kenneth J. Scanlon of North Providence and Warren E. Scanlon and his wife Lee of Hinsdale, IL, and three grandchildren James, Sean, and Ryan.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 AM from the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Lawrence Church. Burial will follow in Bridge Street Cemetery, West Newbury, MA. Calling hours Monday 6-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Lawrence Church, 624 Woonasquatucket Ave, No. Providence, RI 02911.
