Rita Epton Obituary
Mrs. Epton was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her three daughters, Roberta I. Sullivan and her husband Steven, Shirley A. DiBonaventura and her husband John and Gayle M. Golomboski and her husband Anthony; six grandchildren, Dayla Simeone, Shawna Ferriera, Kimberley Cook, John DiBonaventura, Jr., Anthony Golomboski, Jr. and Jeffrey Golomboski; and five great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Irene Houle, Wilfred, Raymond and Norman Thibodeau..
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m., from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 538 Broadway, Providence. VISITATION, Monday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care of RI, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI 02860. maceroni.com

To a lovely woman who practically watched me and my children grow up. She was there every week and I enjoyed many conversations about her children and grandchildren as I did her hair. Everyone in the Salon will sadly miss her. I will especially miss the every other week I had to tell her she did not need a perm- she was very particular -but always sweet about it and her hair always looked like she never needed to have it done.
I will think about her family and pray for them because Rita felt like our family too.
