Gertrude Abrahamson Obituary

ABRAHAMSON, GERTRUDE M. (BOWEN), 75, of Seaside Drive, passed away Friday at Newport Hospital. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late William and Florence (Albro) Bowen. Mrs. Abrahamson worked as the office manager for Tivoli Jewelry Company for about 20 years before retiring.

She enjoyed playing computer games. She was a communicant of St. Mark Church.

She leaves a brother and two sisters, William Bowen of Cranston, Mildred Allard of Wakefield and Barbara Szpotowski of Jamestown; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late George Bowen, Dorothy DeNoncour and Florence Bates.

Her Funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:45am from the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mark Church, 60 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown. Burial will be in St. Mark Cemetery, Jamestown. Visiting hours Monday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Jamestown EMS, PO Box 8, Jamestown, RI 02835 will be appreciated.
