I had the pleasure of enjoying time chatting with Joanie while working and working-out at the YMCA. I was never fully aware of all of her accomplishments throughout her lifetime, but it was evident that she was a remarkable woman.
My sincere condolences to the Henderson Family, Bill and Wanda

Dear Susan, It has been such a long time. I am so sad to hear about your very lovely mom (and your brother Jonathan). I will never forget meeting her for the first time; she personified the word "style." May you and your children carry her torch long and far.

To all the Henderson Family, Bill, and Wanda,
It was surprising to learn of the passage of Joanie. I had seen her the morning before at the Y on the treadmill, which she was so determined always to accomplish four miles every day.I would often tell her I could never keep up with her.
Joanie love life, and lived it to the fullest, being active right to the end.
Please accept my sympathy on her passing.Joan did it her way.She would never be able to accept a long illness where she had to be inactive.
I will miss seeing her at the Y,and ,of course, our little chats.
May she rest in peace.Amen
