Gerosita Faraone Obituary

FARAONE, GEROSITA, 98, formerly of Providence and Garland Ave., Cranston, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008 at St. Joseph Living Center in Providence.

Born in Providence she was the beloved daughter of the late Fiorenzo and Assunta (Renzi) Faraone.

Miss Faraone was a secretary for various companies most of her life and worked for the City of Providence Department of Elderly Affairs for eight years before retiring in 1995. She was a member of The Daughters of Isabella.

She was the dear sister of Tripolina Gardner of Washington, Anthony Menna of California, the late Berina Faraone, Maryann Uhlmann, Carmella Recchia and Thomas Menna; and loving aunt of Diane McCally of Barrington, Camille Stonehill of Virginia, Donna Uhlmann of Barrington and Roberta Uhlmann of Pawtucket. Gerosita was fond of the staff and fellow residents at St. Joseph Living Center and will be missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 9:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew's Church, 305 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Sunday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be private.
