Dear Brother Dannecker,
I was shocked to find out just now that Janet passed away. My mother read it in the Observer. I would have been there today and last night if I had known. I am so thankful for the support she gave me in helping me through my trying time. I will certainly miss her. We are blessed to have the Gospel in our lives and knowing that we will be together for eternity with our spouses that have already gone home. Believe me, the Gospel will help you through this. May Heavenly Father bless you in this trying time. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Friend forever, Colleen Hopkins

Dear Russ and Max,
I am SO sorry for your loss. On this eve of Thanksgiving, I know that the pain of death can make it hard to find things to be thankful for.

Keep the love, powerful memories and the laughter, learn from them, share them, and never let them go. Jan was a wonderful friend to me, and I am sorry that I drifted away...she was never far from my thoughts. I have - and will - miss her a lot. She left a deep imoression on my life, and will continue to be in my thoughts.

"We live for as long as we are remembered."
Thanks for letting me share...and take solace and strength in the day.
Love,

Maureen Maigret

Dannecker family,
I was saddened to hear of your loss. I will never forget how helpful Jan was to me over the years in church, and also with the endless help and support she offered to me for my Eagle Scout project for Boy Scouts of America. She is one of the most giving of her time, talents and wisdom, as well as one of the most selfless women I have come to know. While it truly is a loss to the many people she had such a loving and positive influence over, it is a great gain to our Father in Heaven and so many others who are now welcoming her home with open arms. I’ll miss her till we meet again.
May God bless her.

Russ; I am sorry for your loss. When I saw her picture I experienced a flood of warm memories wash over me. Janet brought excitement and energy to our early campaign efforts. She wore her compassion for others on her sleeve unrepentantly. I know she will be missed.

I am so sorry to read about Janet's passing. She was an excellent patient, always cheerful, never complainig. I attended the delivery of her first child, and remember how thrilled both she and her husband were with the delivery. I especially remembered it with the joy they expressed in naming him Max. Janet was one of my favorites. I will miss her too.

I enjoyed knowing Jan through teaching at Captian Isaac Paine School. Heartfelt condolences go out at this difficult time to Jan's family and closest friends. This is a bittersweet moment in both celebration of no more suffering and an unexpected goodbye at the same time. May God bless.
