Papa,

Only we know the "SPECIAL" bond we had as Father-In-Law and Daughter-In-Law. I miss you so much, but most of all, I miss the talkes we had and the advice you gave me. Even through trying times, you guided me in the right direction-even if i didn't want to hear it, but you were always right! I know you will look over mom, the boys, the grandchildren and everyone who loved you. I love & miss you Papa...

Only we know the "SPECIAL" bond we had as Father-In-Law and Daughter-In-Law. Having lost my dad, you were my DAD and I loved you like a father. You would guide me through some trying times and sometimes it was things I did't want to hear, but you were always right. I miss you so much evey day and know in my heart that you will look over mom, the boys, your grandchildren and everyone who loved you. Miss you PAPA!

Hi Mr. S, I would say and your repley would be Hi Mrs. Z.... That was our little thing we always had going. There were too many special times through the years we have shared to pick one over the other. You, Van, Nick and I had so many happy times together and we also had our not so happy times, but we always had each other to turn to. Your family still has me and I will be here for them whenever they need me. You will never be forgotten!!
Van and Family, I am here for you anytime, day or night.
I realize there is never a "good" time to loose somebody you love but Thanksgiving and Christmas is especially hard. Joe loved all the holidays and cooking for everyone. He enjoyed life, he would want you to also enjoy your family and Christmas and as he would say "Keep a go"

LOVE, NICKY

"BIG JOE" you have left each of us with a unique void in our hearts. You have always been a special part of our family, with your larger than life personality and heart to match. As a kid I remember when David and I got into something you would scold us as if I was one of your own. As the "4th musketeer" you always made me feel like part of your family. Some of my fondest memories include you: the cookouts, times around the pool, when you and Vanessa would take David and I out for dinner on a regular Sunday afternoon, which always included a long scenic ride, most of all the fishing adventures with you, David, and my father. I like to picture you and my Dad sitting in a boat fishing on a peaceful pond, pain free, and laughing together. I am glad that recently I've had the time to stop by once in awhile during the day and talk, just you and I. You are deeply missed by me and Leann.

Dad, I think of you constantly, I lost a dad and best friend. I will miss seeing you at the table and in the driveway watering the grass.I never got to thank you for all your guidance and direction, and loving me thru all my screwups and shortcomings. It was a privledge to have you in my life and THANK GOD that you were able to see me as the man you raised me to be, rather than the child who never grew up!I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU EVERYDAY.

Vanessa, Joe, Mike and David,

We are so very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I can remember the family being together (before we moved to Florida) always laughing, playing cards, eating macaroni or my dad's pizza. Mom and Dad loved Joe. I remember when we first moved to Florida, Joe missed my Dad so much he called him once a week. He was always such a nice guy. We are truly sorry for your loss.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Cousin Gail and Robert

To my neighbors,

I would like to express my sympathy to each and everyone of you. Your dad was truly a one of a kind person that will be missed by all who have ever had the chance to have a conversation with him. I personally will miss coming home and seeing him in his folding chair greeting with a wave and an occasional joke. For well over 20 years of my life he has been there. So many great memories and stories can be told. He will always be loved and missed.

Papa,
Words can't express how much I miss you right now. You were the best papa anyone could ask for. Even though you did have your stupid jokes and tried so hard to make Lexie and I laugh. While you were around you did whatever you could to make us all happy and find the simple little things to nag about but it's ok. We miss you very much and love you. I know you're in a better place and you're free from pain. Make sure to always watch over me and help me when I need you the most. I love you sooo much and miss you it's crazy. I'll never forget my papa.

Love your grandaughter,
Jackie xo

Words cannot express how heartbroken we are right now. He was the greatest, kindess man that we have ever known. He was the man that brought the neighborhood together. We will miss him so much.
