Leo, Emily, and the McLeroy, Smith families;
I was reminded of your significant loss recently. And while time may decrease the pain, I believe it can also highlight the good times. I remember Maureen's joy in your life, Emily, and everyone around her.
As I said all those years ago, remember the good times shared with family and friends. Maureen is in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. And she always will be.

Dear Leo, Emily and Family
Jim and I were deeply sadddened to hear of Maureen's passing. I remember having many talks with Maureen while we sat and watched Lindsay and Emily play soccer in EWG a couple of years ago. She was one of the most caring, kind, generous and most inspirational people I have ever met. She will be missed. God bless you, Emily and the rest of your family.

Mr Smith and Emily,
Some people touch our lives for just a brief instance and make the greatest impact. Your Mom and Wife is one of these special angels we meet in life. I met Maureen at a birthday party, and spoke briefly with her at school gatherings. Maureen touched me with her kind, gracious essence, amazed by her courage and beauty. We all are blessed by Maureen sharing our lives. Thank You, Peace be with you

Life is hard without Faith. Without it, I wouldn’t understand why someone so strong, compassionate and devout could be taken away. But with it, I can see that God has simply released your wings from their earthbound chains to where He can lift you to his bosom and you can be forever close to His heart; where the both of you can continue to touch the lives of those you love and those who are in need of your love.
I will always remember your laugh and smile; moments that seemed to radiate your beauty inside, out. I will look for you in the smiles…

Dear Leo, Emily and Family,
Although I only have gotten to know Maureen over the past year through school and soccer, she had become a very good friend. I will miss her and consider myself blessed for having known her. I know where she is now and only hope that I will see her again to share another cup of coffee. God Bless!

Dear Leo and Emily,
Remember the good times that are shared with family and friends. Leo, I have known you for 30 years. Know that the joy and love you and Maureen found together will always be there. You two showed how love can make life better.
Kristin and I have always considered Maureen and you close friends, even though we live thousand of miles apart. The times that we spent together as couples show lucky you and I are in having great woman in our lives. And then our children where brought into this world. Our joys could know no bounds.
Connor and I remember our stay at your house in August with great fondness and joy. Seeing Emily and Connor play together shows that what we as parents put into our children will be carried on into future. Know that Maureen will always be reflected in Emily.
In this time of great sadness, Leo and Emily please know that you are always in our thoughts and prayers. Neither time nor distance will diminish our love and caring for your family.
Love,
Connor, Kristin and Jay

To Maureen's Family and Friends:
My heart is heavy today to hear of her passing. I work with her sister, Renee, who loved her so dearly and spoke so highly of her sister's strength and determination throughout her illness. May God protect and guide all of you during this difficult time of sorrow.

Dear Leo, Emily, and all Loved ones of Maureen Smith,
A couple of weeks ago my family (Ken Bisceglio & crew - his mom is Claire Grimley Bisceglio, cousin of Arlene Smith) sent an arrangement of Christmas Cacti to Maureen and a windchime to Emily. I wanted to share with you a psalm from the thank you note that I received from Maureen just last week.
psalm 91:1-2, 11-12
You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High who abide in the shadow of the Almighty
Say to the Lord, "My refuge and fortress, my God in whom I trust."
For God commands the angels to guard you in all your ways, with their hands they shall support you."
Our prayers go out to you and your family during this time of loss of Maureen, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend.
Love,
Joanna Bisceglio and Family
