Hi Grandpa,
As a child you were there
for me every step of the way and I am glad to have all of those happy memories. I remember the bike rides, McDonalds and all the pennies I would have to roll up so I could have money for myself! I remember all this to this day and I will never forgot you, no matter what. Thank you for serving our country during World War II. I am so sorry you did not know me as I got older. I get my love of the ocean from Nana I am told. So I will take what I have left of you and that is many happy memories. Rest in peace Grandpa and say hello to Nana for me. I never got the true chance to know her.
Love
Allison

Dear Linda, Michael and Roland,
I feel certain you don't remember me, since I haven't seen you for many years. My father was Uncle Bill who owned the shoe repair shop in Wakefield. Your Dad visited him fairly often.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was always one of my favorite cousins.
Please accept my condolances.
Jeannette
