Evelyn Bove Obituary
She lived in Warwick for most of her life. Evelyn was a homemaker and avid cook and baker. The Christmas season was her favorite time of year and she took great pride in baking her Italian cookies and preparing the traditional Christmas Eve dinner for her family and friends. She cherished her family and took pleasure in spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides her husband Ralph, she leaves her sons Robert Bove and his wife Doris, Richard Bove and his wife Jane, Dennis Bove and his wife Patricia, and her beloved daughter Janet Verdi, all of Warwick, seven granddaughters, Gina Bove, Lisa Bove-Baldelli, Jessica Bove, Jennifer Bove, Kaite Bove-Furney, Stephanie Bove, and Rochelle Verdi, one grandson, Dennis Bove, Jr. of FL, and two great grandchildren. Evelyn was the mother-in-law of the late Michael Verdi. She was the sister of Nicholas Golato and Dorothy Buccini of Warwick, and Anna Pinga of West Warwick.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, December 13, at 8:45AM from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Kevins Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. VISITING HOURS Friday 4-8PM. Burial will be in St. Anns Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: VNA of RI, 475 Kilvert Street Suite 400, Warwick, RI 02886. To the Bove Family
With saddness I write this message. I knew your mother for 50 years. She role modeled to me that family is always first. That was her only priority. I'll always remember her big smile and the wonderful bond and relationship she had with her only daughter Janet. She was a wonderful person. Today is a sad day for all.
