To Helen, Kelly and family: I hardly know where to begin. As you know, I am "out of the loop" and just found out this a.m. about Anthony. My deepest, deepest sympathies for the loss of an incredibly special man and someone you know meant so very much to me, together with my most sincere apologies for having missed this service. There is a hole in my heart where that warm smile and always welcoming face will always be. Those who knew him are suffering a great loss and someone whose life most certainly touched anyone who knew him. Since I just found out today, I will be mourning his loss for quite some time. With my deepest love and prayers, Marie (Pinelli) McFarland

My heart goes out to all of you in this very sad time and in the upcoming holidays. I am so sorry to hear of Anthony's passing....I did not find out until Sunday and my heart is aching for you all. Anthony was a GREAT brother, Uncle and great friend ....I knew Anthony for 30 years and I will never forget him and his beautiful smile whenever the girls went into the restaurant he always went out of his way and was always so kind and generous to us....he was the perfect host.....he lit up a room when he walked in! We have most certainly lost a person way too early in his life ....
Anthony .....until we meet again I will always remember your great big smile and hugs when we (Patti, Deb and I) came in to see you! You were one of a kind and left us way too early. My heartfelt sympathies to all his family and friends....he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.My prayers and thoughts are with you! Love, Sandra

I just found out that my favorite cousin has left us. I can only wish that I was informed prior to Friday, so that I could have made it to the viewing. You have no idea how much Anthony meant to me. I loved him so much, and the fact that I did not get to see him often was that we both worked in the same business. Me being a Chef, working long hours and loving every minute of it, as well as Anthony, working every minute to satisfy everyone that came into his restaurant, and or his home. I will miss him greatly, and it is bearing hard on my heart, for my father died just two weeks prior to Anthony... So again I am sorry for your loss as well as mine.

Nancy and Family,
Losing someone you love is always difficult, but to lose such a strong personality shortly before Christmas only makes the hurt that much greater.
A trip to Rhode Island was never complete until we made a pilgrimage to Anthony's restaurant. He created such a warm and fun environment, it was just something that had to be accomplished; no matter what the season. He always made such a point to come out of the kitchen and give his hearty hugs and welcoming words. He always insisted on sending over a special dish he would create "just for us" that wasn't on the menu. His wonderful personality will sadly be missed.
Our deepest and most sincere sympathy.

We were so sorry to hear that Anthony passed away. Anthony was always nice to me and my family, especially to my son Tommy. Tommy loved going there to see him and every time he saw him, Tommy would just stand there looking up at Anthony in awe. I wish we would have stayed in touch more.
