Doris Kehr Obituary

KEHR, DORIS W., 85, of Mulhearn Drive, died peacefully at home on Thursday with her daughter. She was the beloved wife of the late Herbert L. Kehr to whom at the time of his death in 2006 she had been married to for 62 years.

Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late Elmer S. and Mildred W. (Harris) Mathewson. For several years she worked as a bookkeeper and statistical typist for the late William J. Kane, CPA.

She is survived by her daughter Karen L. (McGinnes) Joovelegian and her husband George of West Greenwich, her sister Eleanor L. Lynch of Coventry and her adopted son, Pete.

A private graveside service will be held by her family. Should friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to VNA of Care New England Hospice, 51 Health Ln., Warwick, RI 02886. Information and condolences at www.carpenterjenks.com.
