Dear Carmella, Sandy and Lori-
Joe and I worked together at RI Hospital in the Potter Building (before there was a Hasbro Children's Hospital). I was just starting out in my career as a Physical Therapist(1984-1987). Joe was such a GREAT guy and very knowledgeable about all the 'common-sense" things that I had yet to learn - like how to eye-ball the adjustment for crutches. He will be missed on this earth. My deepest sympathy to you.

I would bring Sara & Laurel into Trotter's Book Store at least once a week to get penny candy when we had Alanjay's Music and Gifts across the street. Joe would always give the girls extra candy and always had a smile. They loved him. We have fond memories of Joe. I have fond memories of Joe from when I was married to Michael. He will always be in our hearts. God speed Joe. All our love and prayers to the family. Take care of each other. Love, Carol, Alan, Sara & Laurel
