Beatrice Hayden Obituary

HAYDEN, BEATRICE J. (BARRETTE), 91, formerly of Pleasant View Road, Warwick, died on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Westview Health Care Center in West Warwick. She was the wife of the late Thomas F. Hayden, and the mother of the late Dennis P. Hayden.

Born in Warwick, a daughter of the late Aldege and Laura (Audette) Barrette, she was a life-long Warwick resident.

She is survived by a sister, Claire Barrette of Warwick, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Corinne Resmini, Conrad, Norbert, George, and Rudolph Barrette.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 16, at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are omitted. Kindly omit flowers.

Mrs. Hayden was an advocate of Catholic education, establishing scholarship opportunities at Bishop Hendricken for those less fortunate. Contributions in her memory may be made Bishop Hendricken High School, 2615 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI 02889. Arrangements by Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, Warwick.
