Leo Dufault Obituary

DUFAULT, LEO G. SR., 73 of Douglas Pike, N. Smithfield and formerly of 201 Curran Road, Cumberland, died Monday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the husband of the late Edwina Dolores (Day) Dufault.

Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Medric G. and Aldina (Viens) Dufault. He lived most of his life in Cumberland.

He was a truck driver for over 50 years driving for both M & M Paint and later for New England Paint.

He was a US Army veteran serving as a Sgt. in Okinawa.

He is survived by one son, Leo G. Dufault, Jr. and his wife Kelley and their son John T., five sisters Mary DeRoy, Yvonne Paquin, Mary Rose Paquin and Emma Lavoie, all of Pawtucket, Theresa Frechette of Central Falls and several nieces and nephews. He was a brother of the late Halbert, Arthur, Herman and Medric Dufault.

A funeral will be held on Thursday at 8 a.m. from the CHEETHAM MORTURAY INC., 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Leo the Great Church, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Burial with Military Honors will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
