Scharlene Lassy Obituary

LASSY, SCHARLENE E. (McCLOUD), 79, formerly of Love Lane Estates passed away Friday at Brentwood Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Fred H. Lassy.

Born in Houlton, ME she was the daughter of the late W. Isaiah and Nancy A. (Robinson) McCloud.

Mrs. Lassy was a volunteer and teachers aide for 15 years at the Cedar Hill Elementary School. She was a member and Sunday school teacher for over 20 years at the East Greenwich United Methodist Church.

She leaves her children, Nancy DeRoin and her husband Tom of North Conway, NH and Dana Lassy and his wife Debra of Narragansett; a granddaughter, Bridget Duquette; and one great-grandson, Justin Duquette Jr. She was the sister of the late Herman McCloud.

Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Visiting hours Monday 6-8 p.m. Information and guestbook visit: www.FaganQuinnFuneralHome.com.
