Dorothy Deschenes Obituary

DESCHENES, DOROTHY M. (CORNEAU), age 78, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2007 at St. Anne's Hospital, Fall River. Wife of the late Arthur J. Deschenes.

Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Alcide Corneau and Hannah (Mullins) Corneau. She was a lifelong resident of Fall River. She was the mother of two sons, Steven A. Deschenes of Warren, RI and the late Kenneth F. Deschenes. She is also survived by two daughter-in-laws, Colleen (McCarthy) Deschenes and Nancy (Potvin) Deschenes, four grandchildren, Amy H. Deschenes and Andrew S., Scott D., and Ian M. Deschenes. She was also survived by one brother, Allen P. Corneau, his wife Rita and their son Evan Corneau.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 10am from the BOULE FUNERAL HOME 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA, followed by a funeral mass at 11am in the Parish of the Holy Trinity, 951 Stafford Rd., Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, August 27, 2007 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Joslin Clinic, Our Lady of Fatima High School in Warren, RI and the Fall River Library. www.boulefuneralhome.com
