Edward Landry Obituary

LANDRY, EDWARD P., 89, formerly of Warwick, died Saturday August 25, 2007. He was the husband of the late Helen L. (McKenney) Landry.

Born in Providence he was a son of the late Edward J and Annie (Doyle) Landry. Mr. Landry was a machinist for many years. He was a WW II Navy veteran and served in the Pacific Theater and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.

He was the father of the late Kenneth E. Landry, brother of the late James Landry and Mary Parsons, father-in-law of Sandra J. Landry, grandfather of Clifford R. Andrews, III, Patricia F. Keenan and Pamela J. Landry, also survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was the dear friend of the late Alice Young.

His funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-7 p.m. Information and guestbook visit www.TheQuinnFuneralHome.com

im truely sorry for your loss Ed was a good man and he will be very missed at orchard view manor i worked with Ed for 4 years and loved every minute of taking care of him
