Joseph Reynolds Obituary
He was born in Dorchester, Mass., the son of the late David F. and Mary E. (Donovan) Reynolds.
He was a communicant of St. Martha's Church in East Providence, where he was a former Mass Lector and President of the Holy Name Society.
Mr. Reynolds graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School in 1946, Boston College in 1951 and State College in Boston in 1959.
He was a member of the Segregansett Country Club, the Knights of Columbus, Boston College Club of R.I., Treasurer of the Bryant College Faculty Federation, the Bryant College Higglers and the Bryant College Faculty Advisory Committee on Athletics.
He leaves four daughters; Janice M. Boyd, Joyce M. Nallen, Patricia M. Reynolds Davis and Jo-Ann M. Gershkoff, one brother; T. Robert Rreynolds, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Dorothy M. Keane and Marie T., William J. David F., Jr., and James E. Reynolds.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9AM from the PERRY/MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, EAst Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Martha's Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetary. Calling hours Thursday 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Reynold's memory to the Children's Hospital Boston, 1 Autumn Street, #731, Boston, MA 02215, would be deeply appreciated.

My deepest sympathies to the family of my former father-in-law, Joseph Reynolds. He was a good, decent man, a loving husband and father, and grandfather (of my two daughters).
His was a full life, well-lived, and he will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
May he rest in eternal peace with his bride, Barbara.
