Humberto Pereira Obituary
Born Feb. 7, 1952, in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel and Maria (Estrela) Pereira. Mr. Pereira worked as a machine operator at Victory Polish.
In addition to his wife of 32 years, he leaves his four children, Humberto Pereira of Providence, Edward Pereira of Warwick, Michael Pereira of Providence and Sandra Arsenio, also of Providence; and six grandchildren. He was the brother of Jose Pereira of Fall River, Antonio Pereira of Canada, Jaime Pereira of Canada, Esmeralda Gouveia of Canada and Deolinda Pereira of Sao Miguel. He was also the brother of the late Manuel, Natalie, Zulmira and DaLuz Pereira.
His funeral will be Friday at 9 a.m. from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse St., Providence. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday 5-9 p.m. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
