Rita Chmura Obituary
Born in Madison, NH, a daughter of the late Sewell and Florence (Gilman) Kennett, she had lived in Cumberland for over 50 years.
Mrs. Chmura was a member of Arnold Mills United Methodist Church and a former member of the Riverside Village Tenants Association, both of Cumberland.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Frappier of Cumberland and Sandra Neal of Owings Mills, MD; one son, Kevin Chmura of Cumberland; two sisters, Jennie Powell of Texas and Lina Burnham of Maine; one brother, Franklin Kennett of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; two great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 at 10 A.M. at BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call FRIDAY 4-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Chmura's memory to Mount St. Rita's Health Center, 15 Sumner Brown Road, Cumberland, RI 02864 would be appreciated. For Directions and Guest Book, please visit www.bellowsfh.com

My Mom just emailed me to say that your Mom had passed away. I am so sorry to hear that. I have many fond memories of her cheerful voice and laughter in the kitchen at Arnold Mills Church cutting hard candy and making apple pies. She was a lovely woman. My thoughts and prayers are with you Pam, Sandra and Kevin. May the memories of the good times bring you peace now and in the days ahead.
