Herlene Brodeur Obituary

BRODEUR, HERLENE (GIROUX), 94, of Lucille St., Woonsocket and formerly of Esmond, died Tuesday evening in Oakland Grove Health Care Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Theodore Brodeur, Sr.

Born June 16, 1913, in North Uxbridge, MA, a daughter of the late Napoleon and Albina (Anger) Giroux.

She is survived by a son, Theodore Brodeur, Jr. of Woonsocket; a daughter Anne M. Aubin of Woonsocket; a sister, Dorina Davis of Georgiaville; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late William, Raymond, Wilfred, Armand and John Giroux and Permelia Coutu.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9 am from the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Rd., Cumberland. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, Blackstone. Calling hours are Thursday from 6-8 pm.

Dear Sharon and Ted,

We are so sorry for your loss. We hope that you will take some comfort in knowing that all who knew her will always remember her as "a very nice lady who had a pleasant smile for everyone". We are miles apart, but you can be sure that we are thinking of you both.
