Richmond Darling Obituary
Born in Riverside he was the son of the late Everett and Eliza Jane (Hall) Darling. Richmond was a mechanic for H.P. Hood Company for 20 years and also worked for the city of East Providence in the highway department. He was a WWII veteran and a life member of the VFW, DAV, and American Legion post 10.
Besides his wife he leaves 1 daughter Patricia Regan of Burrillville, 2 sons James Darling of Riverside, Michael Darling of Providence, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late John E. Darling.
Funeral from the Smith-Mason Funeral Home, 398 Willett Avenue, Tuesday at 8 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside. Calling hours will be held Monday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery in Albion.
