Fernand L'Etoile Obituary

L'ETOILE, FERNAND J. 'STAR', age 78 of Old River Road, Lincoln died Wednesday in the Friendly Nursing Home in Woonsocket. He was the beloved husband for sixty years of Doris R. (Hetu) L'Etoile.

He was born in the Village of Manville in Lincoln a son of the late Arthur and Angeline (Desmarais) L'Etoile. He had lived in Lincoln for the past 20 years having lived for many years in Woonsocket where he worked for the Water Treatment Plant for over thirty years before retiring. His favorite pastimes were walking, Salt Water fishing and digging Clams and Quahoags.

Besides his wife he leaves one son Gerard P. and his wife Connie L'Etoile of Auburn, IN and four daughters Ruth F. Lanctot and Paulette Beauregard both of Woonsocket, Denise R. and her husband Dennis G. Dubois of North Smithfield and Linda J. Cherwinski of Bellingham. Thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

His Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 AM from THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. James Church, 33 Division St., Manville. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery in Manville. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours in THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME on Monday from 4 to 8 P.M.
