Catherine Sullivan Obituary

SULLIVAN, CATHERINE (McCABE) (McCabe), 80, of Brunswick Drive, died Friday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Ellworth J. Sullivan

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Francis J. Sr. and Estelle B (Burns) McCabe. She was a life long resident of Warwick.

Mrs. Sullivan was a Legal Secretary for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company in Providence, retiring in 1990. She was a graduate of Lockwood High School Class of 1945, where she later served on the Reunion Committee, attended Edgewood Secretarial School, and was a member of the National Association of Legal Secretaries . She was a parishioner of Sts. Rose & Clement Parish.

She is survived by her four devoted children, Kathleen S. Kenwood of Cumberland, Charleen E.S. Pysz of West Greenwich, E. Joseph Sullivan (Lt.-WFD) of Warwick, and Kevin F. Sullivan of Coventry. She was the cherished grandmother of seven, and was the loving sister of E. Marie Stebbins of Longmeadow, MA, and the late Francis J. McCabe,Jr..

Her funeral will be held Monday at 9AM from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers gifts may be made in her memory to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860 or to Sts. Rose & Clement Parish Building Fund, 111 Long Street, Warwick, RI 02886. www.murphyfuneralhomes.org
