Paul Murphy
September 30, 2007
Dear Canavan family,
By way of introduction or perhaps reintroduction, I am Paul Murphy, youngest son of Frank and Winnie Murphy and a cousin now living near Gettysburg, PA.
Richard Canavan was among those in the Canavan family who helped me enormously in filling out the branches of the Canavan branch of my family.
While I suppose we met when I was very small, I can't say that I remember that, though I remember his father, Ambrose quite well. However, I talked to him several times on the phone and, again, he was most helpful. I'm only sorry I couldn't talk to him in person but I don't get back to RI very often these days.
Please accept my condolences. Any of you should feel to contact me should you wish genealogical information.
Your cousin,
Paul
