John Fay Obituary

FAY, JOHN E., JR., 79, of Cole St., Pawtucket, died Friday, September 28, 2007 at the Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the husband of the late Leatrice (Cecchini) Fay.

Mr. Fay was born in Providence, the son of the late John E. and Agnes (Boland) Fay Sr. He lived most of his life in Pawtucket.

He was a United States Navy Veteran.

Mr. Fay owned and operated the former Blackstone Printers in Pawtucket. In recent years he was employed by New England Paper Tube. He was an avid horse racing enthusiast and handicapper.

He leaves a daughter, Kathleen Botty of Pelham, New Hampshire, three brothers, Philip, and Robert Fay of Pawtucket, James Fay of North Kingston, two sisters, Ellen Shannon of Dennisport, MA., and Mary Carr of Pawtucket.

There will be a funeral service for Mr. Fay in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery Chapel, Prospect St., Pawtucket, Monday, at 10:00 am. Calling hours in the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket, Monday morning from 9:00 am.
