Thank you all so much for your kind words and messages of sympathy. Thank you to Charity Lodge (and the Richards) for being so supportive and hosting (it seemed) 200 people at his memorial. Thank you to my Aunt Fran for coming from Florida to support my mother so often. Most of all, thank you to my Mother for being such a devoted wife and taking such good care of him! (Did you know she gave him a kidney?)

We take immense comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering. He's surely at peace now, playing cards, telling jokes, checking out all your golf courses, and watching over his grand kids - and grand dogs! I will try to live by his example - live life, be the best I can be, travel as much as my budget will allow, respect my family, be a good friend, and don't take myself too seriously!

With much appreciation,

Ellen (Dinwoodie) Santagata

Dear Anne, Ellen, John and families...

The hearts of my family go out to those of yours. You and your families have always been so wonderful to me and my daughters and have been a blessing in our lives. If there is one thing we can all be thankful for, is that "Uncle Al's" spirit will no longer be held back by the limitations of his body. He will continue to live on through Ryan and Malana and everyone else who loved him!
