Ruth Proulx Obituary
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Fred T. Reed and Harriette (Post) Smith.
Mrs. Proulx worked as a waitress for the former Old Acres Restaurant in North Kingstown for many years before retiring. She enjoyed the beach, reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was the mother of James B. Proulx of Alvarado, TX, Lorraine M. Frosheiser of Merrimack, NH and the late Donald R., Sr. and John J. Proulx; sister of Grace Chinn of Milford, CT and Naomi Deighton of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandmother of 13, great-grandmother of 17.
Her Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 12, 2007 at 9am in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. Burial will be in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, 222 Richmond Street, Providence, RI 02903 will be appreciated. I found this picture of Robert and Ruth going through old photos of my parents. It was taken in 1963 in Taiwan. It is one of the few that had names on the back. I hope someone sees this and enjoys it. My mom and dad are both gone now.

Dear Lorrie and Family - we are so happy we had the opportunity to meet your mom; she was a lovely, lovely lady. We were very saddened to hear of her passing, but are glad that she is at rest. She will always be with all of you wherever you are. God Bless.
