Dear Marsha and Family,
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Domenic's passing. We went to High School together and worked together at the Police Department. He was the toughest man I've ever known, but he was so kind, loyal and gentle. My father-in-law, Tony Cimini (who just recently passed away) had so many funny stories about Domenic...the Cimini'...Mike and my wife Janet, loved him so much and so do I. When ever we talked , we would just tell stories about the 'job' and just laugh and laugh...time seemed to never pass when we met, Domenic had a way to make everyone so relaxed and welcome. Truely a CLASS ACT!!! He will always be remembered as being bigger than life, and "The Big D Legend" will always be in my prayers as will all of you. God bless the DiBona family.

To the DiBona Family,
Very sad to hear of your loss today. I've known Domenic since I was a teenager. He worked with my brother in the police department and I worked at Lincoln Park with him , and I'd always see him while working outside. But I'd always see him when I visited my friend who lives right around the corner from him. Everytime I'd see Domenic he'd have the two dogs with him and a BIG smile on his face. He would always stop and ask how every one was doing and how I was. Since I lost my dad last November, Domenic was always there with words of caring and advice and a genuine bear hug everytime he would bump in to me. What a caring, loving, genuine and kind man he was. He could always put a smile on everyones face. Always a burst of Sunshine when you saw him approaching. He will be saddly missed.

Marsha,

I was so saddened to hear about Donnie's passing. We went way back, beginning with our volunteer days in Fruit Hill in the 60's and later on with the NPPD. He was a good friend. Even though I haven't seen him in the years since I left RI, I have many fond memories of him to this day. He was such a stand up guy and he will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. My condolences go out to you and your family.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

To Marsha and family,

I cannot express my great sadness and shock at the passing of the "Big D"...I knew Dom for over 20 years and he was one of the best people I ever had the pleasure to know. His love of his family was profound. He would speak with such pride of his children...God takes the good ones, he must need the help up there with all that goes on in this crazy world.
God bless you and your family at this most difficult time.
