Antonio Caruso Obituary

CARUSO, ANTONIO 'PECHE', 79, of Leander Street, Providence died Saturday October 20, 2007 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Providence.

A lifelong Providence resident he was the son of the late Pasquale and Pasqualina (Machera) Caruso. He was self employed in the fruit and produce business until his retirement, was a member of the Tuscan Club and was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his son Anthony Caruso and his wife Melodi of West Warwick, two grandchildren, a sister Esther Lonardo of Cranston and was the brother of the late Vera Sousa and Peter Caruso.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial will be private. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Arrangements by the Nardolillo Funeral Home. www.nardolillo.com
