John Rossborough Obituary

ROSSBOROUGH, JOHN J, (FRAIELI), 82, of Clement St. and Bradenton, FL, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 20, 2007 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy M. (Loya) Rossborough.

Born in Dorchester, MA, a loving son of the late John J. and Mary E. (Mann) Rossborough.

Mr. Rossborough was a chief fire control technician for the US Navy 30 years before retiring. He was a teacher at Mare Island, California from 1966-1985 as a Nuclear Reactor Engineer. He was also a Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam, Korea and WWII.

He is survived by a daughter Constance Fraieli of North Providence, a daughter in-law Mary Dill and several nieces and nephews. He was the stepfather of the late Richard D. Dill, Jr. and devoted brother of the late Beatrice H. Peterson and Hazel A. McSheffrey.

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 am from the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Anthony Church, Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Visiting hours Tuesday 9-10 am prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Home & Hospice Care of RI, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860, would be appreciated.
