Donald Bennett Obituary
He was born in Pawtucket, a son of Rose Marie (Benoit) Bennett and the late Richard D. Bennett. He lived in Central Falls for several years before moving to East Providence 9 years ago. He was employed as a cement mason for the last 16 years. He was currently employed by Capital Curb Co. and D'Ambra Construction Corp. of Warwick. Mr. Bennett was also a well known DJ, known as 'DJ Twin'. Music was his life. He was a member of Local #40, Plasterers and Masons Union.
Besides his wife and mother, he leaves 5 sons, Donald A. Bennett, Jr. and Mark Bennett of Pawtucket, Tyler Bennett of Cranston, Raymond and Jashaun Bennett, both of East Providence; 2 daughters, Chasity Waite of Pawtucket and Bobby Lynn Bennett of Providence. He also leaves 7 sisters, Gail Wilding and Pamela Lopes of Central Falls, Debra Mal and Kelly Lavoie of Pawtucket, Donna Romero and Rose Lewis of Providence, and Jodi B. Feth of Alexandria, VA. He also leaves 3 brothers, David J. Bennett, his twin, Kevin E. and Richard D. Bennett, Jr., all of Pawtucket; and 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Keith and Robert Bennett.
His Funeral Will be held Thursday at 8:30 AM from the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 PAWTUCKET AVE., East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church, Park St., Pawtucket, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday 4-8 PM.

Hi Tori-
My favorite niece, I only wish that I could have been there with you. Death is still a mystery and we can never know the cause, but the effect is devastating. But faith can traverse the distance and miles to send my love to you and the family in your time of grief.
As the patriarch of a family that has been beset by so many tragedies, every time we lose one so young, it takes a piece of my heart.
Twin will always be my PAN, the god of the woods, the fields and the flocks and he is still playing the music of life to bring lost souls together somewhere.

My Deepest Condolences to all the family, and friends he that he treated like family! Twin was truly one of the sweetest guys I ever met... He never missed an opportunity to give of himself for his friends and community, and gave extra of himself to the clubs he worked for. Twin, you are truely going to be missed. When I started this construction stuff, you were the one who told me who was who, what was what,what to do and not to do. Twin, my friend, my plumber, my electrician, maintenance man, my "old school" music man, you gave so much of yourself and never asked for anything in return. Men like Twin are rare. His kindness, sincerety, never a frown always a smile,never an unkind word. Wow, what a big smile and hug for such a little man.
