Patricia McCarthy Obituary
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Irene (Bir) McCarthy.
She leaves one daughter, Patricia A. Currier, Jr. of Wakefield; five sons, Kevin E. Currier and his wife Diane of Wakefield, Timothy S. and Thomas J. Currier, both of Dallas, TX, Michael P. Currier of Somerset, MA and Terrence J. Currier of London, England; three brothers, Eugene McCarthy of New Providence, NJ, Dennis McCarthy of Fort Worth, TX and Terrence McCarthy of Oak Bluffs, MA; and three grandchildren. She was a sister of the late William McCarthy and Madeline Carey.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 AM from the PERRY/McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Martha's Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. CALLING HOURS TODAY 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Patricia's memory to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Boulevard, Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886, would be deeply appreciated.

Michael and Family, I just heard about your Mom. I have so many fond memories of your Mom, I wish I could have made it to the wake at least. I am so sorry for your loss. I hadn't seen her in a couple of years, since I moved away. She had a big heart and she will be missed. I will treasure the memories she left behind.

Pat,
So glad I got to meet you. You were full of life, fun and vibrancy. I'm sure you will give the other angles a run for their money! By the way, let them win a hand of cards from time to time, while sharing your sour patch kids with them. You centainly had a full deck of life's love, while you were here on earth from everone's life you touched. You will be surely missed.
