Dear Shirley, Denis & Mel, Danielle & Noah, Michael, and Stephen!
Words will never express the loss we have felt with the passing of Lefty! We cannot even imagine how you feel! We do know that we lost the dearest of friends and we will always cherish the time that we had together!!!! In order to calm the hurt, we will always remember Lefty in our thoughts and prayers, knowing that we had such very special times together! We will always love him and his spirit and his love of life will always live in our hearts! When we hear the bells ringing we know that he is watching over the BELL SISTERS!!!
We will always keep in mind that we would rather hurt the way we do and have known Lefty the way we did than not hurt by not having known him at all!
We love you guys!
Rest in Peace Our Friend!

How can this be? This is a terrible time in our lives. We have lost such a special part of our family. Denis was a loving and devoted husband, proud and dedicated father, wonderful brother-in-law, and uncle. He was a gentleman and a gentle man. We all loved him so much. It was always a pleasure to be with him. Our family has suffered a great loss. He will always be with us. He was a great role model to his students, children, family, and friends. Mr. St Amand was one of the best teachers I've ever had. He was tough on us, but we always knew that he wanted us to be the best we could. He made class fun and he loved teaching, that was obvious. My heartfelt condolences go out to Mrs. St Amand and your children. Mr St. Amand, you will be missed.

Dear Shirley and Family,
Shirley, I hope you remember me. I am Joann (Doddio) Vacca, your cousin Joyce's friend. We were all marching members of the KofC in our younger days. Joyce told me of your loss and I am so very sorry. After reading this guest book it is evident that your husband was a much loved and admired man. It is during these times that all our past memories come flooding back. Store them well in your mind as no one can ever erase what you shared in your life. Shirley, although I have not seen you for many years, you are still among the most cherished memories of my youth. May God bless you and your family at this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Our deepest sympathy to the St Amand family

Art Serpa

October 23, 2007

Paul and the St. Armand Family,

On behalf of the entire Serpa family please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of Denis. His support of the many fundrasiers, over thirteen years, to support the Allen Serpa Memorial Scholarship fund is something we will always remember.

Paul, one of the most difficult things in life is to lose a brother, especially one who is as close as Denis was to you. I can only tell you from experience the loss you feel never goes away, so instead focus on every memory you have of how you and Denis lived as brothers. After Allen died, I realized that losing a brother is not the worst thing that can happen, never having one, like Denis and Allen, is far worse. Our lives were made better for having bothers like them. Cherish the memories and smile about them often.

Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
God Bless,

Amanda Falcone

My sister Emily and I were lucky enough to have both Mr. and Mrs. St. Amand as our teachers while we were in school in Coventry. Mr. St. Amand was a passionate teacher who made science fun, but he also made sure we worked and truly learned about what we were doing. We've both graduated, but we talk fondly about our time in Mr. St. Amand's science class. Our sympathies and our hearts go out to the St. Amand family.
