Robert Gebler Obituary
Born in Coventry, a son of the late Max O. and Nellie A. (George) Gebler, he lived in West Kingston for 25 years, formerly residing in Warwick. Robert was a Korean War Army veteran. A 25 year member of the RI National Guard, a Mason and an avid Red Sox fan. He was the beloved father of Philip G., Robert G., Gary M., Kevin L., Roy K. Gebler, Kathleen Budro, Karen Filan and the late Kenneth N. Gebler and twin daughters, Lori B. and Beverly M. Gebler. Brother of Kay Johnson and the late Richard Gebler, Carolyn Wood and Eleanor Allen. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was the grandfather of the late Wendy S. Budro and Tabatha A. Gebler.
His funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm. Information and guestbook visit www.TheQuinnFuneralHome.com.
