It seems like yesterday you came to stay with us. Now as the sun rises over the trees, I wish for just one more chance to wish you "good morning" and "goodnight". Just one more chance to see you smile. Just one more chance to let you know how much you meant to me. Thank you for spending your latter years with Craig, Nathan & me. We love you Gram.

For You Gram:

I feel a breeze blow through my hair
And I know that you are near.

I watch the sunsets’ colors glow
And I know you are watching me here below.

I hear a bird singing its melodious song
And I know you are where you belong.

I tell myself it was all for the best
And I know that you deserve the rest.

I shed my tears because my heart breaks
And I know you will ease my pain each day that I wake.

I want to cry out it is just not fair
And I know you will tell me not to despair.

I will miss you Gram, the gleam in your eyes
And I know you left quickly to avoid the good-byes.

I love you so much, with that I will end
And I know you will stay with me so my heart will mend.
