Beverly Gross Obituary

GROSS, BEVERLY M., 63, of Lynwood Circle, Attleboro, MA died Thursday, October 25, 2007 at home. She was the wife of Russell B. Gross, Jr.

Born in Richmond, VA she was a daughter of the late Rev. Willie O. Knight and Etta (Terry) Knight of Dorchester, MA. Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Gross was raised and resided in Cambridge, MA for many years.

Mrs. Gross worked for a number of years as an Executive Secretary to the State Tax Commissioner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She was also employed as a Teachers Aide in North Brunswick, NJ; for Nutri-system in Attleboro, MA; and as a Recruiter/Placement Specialist for a Temp Agency in Mansfield, MA. She was a Member, Elder and Leader of Devine Health Ministry at the Cathedral of Life Christian Assembly in Providence. Mrs. Gross was very active in promoting womens Health awareness in the community, including being a Lifespan Community Health Advocate.

Besides her husband and mother she is survived by one son Quentin Furey of Taunton, MA and her in-laws Russell B. and Barbara (Farrow) Gross Sr. of Cranston.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Wednesday at 10:00 am in the Cathedral of Life Christian Assembly Church, 1860 Westminster Street, Providence. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 7-9 pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.
