Dear Anna, my heart and prayers go out to you and your family on the passing of Ed. I just learned of Eddy's passing and it brought back fond memories of when I (being a few years younger) tagged along when my brother Ralph, Ed, Bill Diko, Wewe Johnston, the DeFusco brothers, Bill Bowen and others had a baseball team and played in Providence Parks League. My dad, the former Senator would pile as many of the players into the car as possible and get them to their games. Often time they were shorthanded and I had to be put out in right field, just to fill a position. Then there were many hours of croquet games in our yard on Gould Avenue. Ed was always a part of it and had a great time. As a former President of the Warwick West Side Little League myself, I know how much work Ed put into the league and kids playing. Old Norwood has lost a great person, father, husband and friend.

God bless you all.

Dear Mrs.Shea,Dottie,Eddy,Kevin, and Patty.I am very sorry to hear of your loss.I found out the day of the funeral or I surely would have been at the wake. So with that said I would like to tell you all how grateful I am to have known Mr.Shea as I would call him. When I think back to the love and commitment that he gave all us boys in troop 4 Norwood as our Scoutmaster is beyond the words that I can find to write. Then his garden. I want you to know how every time I drive by the house I would marvel at the garden that he and Mrs.Shea would grow together and worked together. Now I would also like to point out how I enjoyed him helping his family as he would drive by my house coming from Kevin's or me seeing the Mrs. and Mr. at Dottie's house. Love and admiration Jonathan De Sisto and Family

Growing up at RCB is a wonderful thing. This is where you get to meet neighbors like the 'Shea' family. Unfortunately as I get older I am watching people like Ed and other older Association Members slowly slip away. Ed, rest in peace, from your summer family at Roy's.
