Rosemary Petisce Obituary

PETISCE, ROSEMARY J. (DIRRANE), 54, of City View Circle passed away Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Fatima Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a two month illness. She was the loving wife of Richard A. Petisce. They were happily married for 25 years.

Born in South Boston, MA., she was the devoted daughter of the late Thomas J and Adeline M.(Moran) Dirrane. Mrs. Petisce was employed as a legal secretary. She also was a volunteer for the school committees of both, North Providence High School and St. Ann School, Providence.

Besides her husband she leaves her beloved sons Richard Jr. and Matthew Petisce both of North Providence; a brother Michael J. Dirrane and his wife Sharon of South Boston; a sister Gertrude Sullivan of Abington, MA., and a dear friend Kirsten Lanfair of North Providence.

She was the sister of the late Patricia Dirrane.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 8am from the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St. Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in St. Ann Church, Hawkins St. Providence. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8pm. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In Lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph Health Services of RI Development Office, 200 High Service Avenue, North Providence, RI 02904, would be appreciated.
