Anthony Marderosian Obituary

MARDEROSIAN, ANTHONY 'TONY', 78, of Alhambra Circle, Cranston, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2007 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband for 54 years of Elaine M. (Ciasullo) Marderosian.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Krikor and Lucille (Chooljian) Marderosian.

Mr. Marderosian was a real estate broker for many years, before retiring. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and was a member of Metacomet Country Club for 25 years.

His best friend in life was his loyal and loving wife Elaine. He enjoyed spending time with her and their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and playing golf and drinking red wine with his sons, son-in-law and friends.

He was the devoted father of George A. Marderosian of Edgewood, Gregory A. Marderosian of Seekonk, MA, and Pamela Kamand and her husband Jay Kamand of Warwick; loving grandfather of Nicole Williams, Amanda Marderosian and Justin Marderosian; and loving great-grandfather of Heather, Brianna and Marcus.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, 70 Jefferson St., Providence, RI 02908. www.nardolillo.com
